Fox Docks constructs a wide variety of piers and docks on Lake Norman. The floating docks and piers on Lake Norman are the vintage and traditional dock found on the lake. The floating dock and pier features a ramp and floating slip or floating unit with black Formex encapsulating foam floats. The floating slip or unit is secured into place using marine grade wood pilings or metal telescopic pilings. Wood pilings can be driven inside the slip and custom installed to accommodate the installation of a boat lift.

Optional Custom Additions:

  • Structural Customizations: Staircase on the side of the pier that leads to the lake property beach, fill I corner angles inside the slip, seating area addition, custom swim platform with air lift, storage closet, storage benches
  • Handrails: Stainless Steel Handrails, Stainless Steel Cables, Aluminum Top Rails, Veka vinyl handrails and pickets, wood, aluminum balusters, Veka decking split rails
  • Roof Customizations: You can choose from a stick built hip or gable roof, matching shingles, or tin, tongue and groove paneling can be installed to the ceiling to enclose the rafters along with custom soffit work. A roof can be installed over a seating area or over your floating slip.
  • Lighting: Pathway lighting installed down each side of the pier, underwater lighting
  • Boat lifts and Jet ski lift: Fox Docks offers Cable boat lifts ranging from 5,000lb, 7,000lb, and 10,000lb.
  • Customizations: Heating elements for the seating area, ceiling fan under the roof, TV installation, full entertainment installation, custom bar area/cabinets with sink, custom storage cabinet, custom bench cabinet, over head storage area
