Dredging Services

In low water depth situations property owners have the option to acquire the needed water depth with dredging.

What does Dredging do?:
*removes bottom soil, rocks, and debris
*allows safe areas to operate your boat
*provides more water in the areas you need it
*provides the ability to acquire reliable cable boat lift systems
*provides the ability to build a new stationary dock, entertainment dock, and outdoor living space

Dredging is necessary in the following situations: properties tucked back in a shallow cove, properties with shallow water, and properties with no water when lake levels are low. Also, a lot of older properties on Lake Norman have the old floating docks that have shallow water. These water depths and docks will not accommodate the new bigger boats on the lake and aren’t functional during low lake levels for any boat. The new solution to fixing all these problems is the new modern trend setting multiuse stationary dock/entertainment dock. Dredging services are sometimes still necessary with a stationary dock but the added benefits make it all worth it. To dredge or not to dredge is a big decision but doing so paves the way to a solid stationary dock with multi uses like an extra outdoor living space for entertaining and sunbathing and a new spot to watch the game while enjoying the lake not something anyone could do on a floating dock. So, if you’re a lake property owner in need of a water depth solution contact Fox Docks and we can get you started with re-imagining your lake front.
