Dorie moved to North Carolina from Connecticut in 1992. She has grown up around water all her life and worked at a local YMCA for 23 years. She taught lifeguard classes, CPR and First Aid classes as well as swim lessons, which she does to this day. She has a real passion for water rehab, which she has done for over 20 years. She has been a part of our team for over a year and loves watching the customers reactions when their docking systems are completed. She especially enjoys talking about the step down systems and the functionality of them. She is excited to be working wit her oldest son, Shane, who is a supervisor with Fox Docks. In her spare time, Dorie volunteers for Piedmont Animal Rescue fostering puppies and kittens. She also volunteers with Action for Animals helping people get dogs and cats spayed and neutered affordably. She is also active at her church with a crocheting group called Chicks with Sticks. They do many different projects for the church and in the community.
